Thank you for participating in the 2019 Habitat for Humanity home build!

At the end of a long workday, many of us look forward to sitting in the comfort of our own home. There is a peacefulness that comes from laying your head down on a pillow or sitting down at the table for a meal in your space. Your home is filled with laughter, tears, joys, and sorrows. A home is where you should find rest and safety. At the beginning of June, more than forty members of our community began construction on homes for Carolyn and Joyce, two single moms, and their families. Carolyn shared that she is getting a second chance for a peaceful and secure life through this home and financial education she is receiving through Habitat for Humanity.
"Now, when I sit down at the end of the day I won't have the weight on my shoulders to figure out how to pay for next months rent." - Carolyn
As we seek to see everyone safe in our community, we know that the work Habitat for Humanity does is helping to do just that. Thank you to those who served this year or in years past, and to all of Providence Church for your faithful giving to make dreams like this become a reality.. Additionally, we give thanks to Rehab 23 who provided water, Gatorade and snacks for our teams. Rehab 23 provides water, Gatorade and snacks for first responders when they are working on lengthy projects. When Rehab 23 heard about the build, they volunteered their time to ensure we were taken care of as well. Habitat will dedicate the homes for Carolyn and Joyce on June 30 at 1:00 pm and Providence Church is invited. If you wish to attend, the address is: 409A Park Avenue Lebanon, TN  37087 Get Directions Please be in prayer for them and their families as they make these houses their homes.
