Local School Support - Teacher Encouragement and Care

Description: Help us support and encourage teachers at our local schools!
Details: Join us for our annual "Teacher Support Serve Day" on Sunday, April 14 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the church. We will be putting together treat bags for students and teachers, making encouragement posters, writing cards, and covering the sidewalks at Rutland Elementary with sidewalk chalk. All ages welcome!

Mt. Juliet Help Center

Description: Help with our monthly food collection for the Mt. Juliet Help Center!
Details: Volunteers can help fill MJHC bags with new shopping lists, pass out bags after Sunday services, collect and organize items, and load and unload the box truck. Our spring collection dates are March 24, April 28, and May 26.

Nicaragua Mission Trip

Description: Providence Church is a long-standing partner of El Porvenir, a nonprofit organization that empowers rural Nicaraguans to achieve better health through comprehensive clean water projects. We are thrilled for the opportunity to visit Nicaragua again this October!
Details: This trip is scheduled for October 19 - 24. Travelers must be 18 years of age or older. Mission trip participants will join the work of locals and El Porvenir staff to participate in projects such as children’s programs and construction projects. Projects will include work for all skills sets and ability levels. We are asking for a commitment and completed application by May 15; the first payment is not due until July 15.

Foster Care WRAP Teams

Description: Are you interested in supporting a foster family during their season of fostering? Join a Foster Care WRAP team!
Details: We have several families in our church that serve as foster families. A Foster Care WRAP Team comes alongside these families to support them during their fostering season through writing cards of encouragement, providing acts of helpful service and meals, and interceding for them through prayer.

Disaster Relief Team

Description: Are you interested in serving during times of natural disaster? Join our Disaster Relief Team!
Details: Our Disaster Relief Team receives ongoing communication with details on how our church is responding to emergency situations, as well as current volunteer opportunities. This team also receives information about educational and training opportunities throughout the year to be better equipped when serving in disaster affected areas.

Description: If you are doing some spring cleaning and looking to donate your like-new items, please consider donating to one of our ministry partners or local nonprofits!
