Care Night
Spring Series

Tuesday Evenings
April 9 – May 14

The vision of Care Night is to offer a place where we can all come, just as we are, and find comfort and rest in the presence of those around us who walk beside us. We live into this vision by offering a safe place each week where we can come together and be fed, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through gifts of food, worship, and guidance, we begin the journey towards healing. We live into the truth that we are not alone. Everyone is welcome!

Care Night Spring Series is all about relationships…. our relationships with others (Creating Meaningful Relationships), with our grief (Grief Care), and with Jesus (Practicing the Way: Prayer Practice).

Classes This Series – 6 Week Sessions

Creating Meaningful Relationships
Led by Neil Sharpe, LMFT and Sally Sharpe, Spiritual Director
In 2023 the Surgeon General released a report saying that loneliness is an epidemic in the United States.  We all know firsthand how lonely and isolating this world can be.  God has a better plan for us.  Based on Jennie Allen’s book, Find Your People, this class will focus on how to create and live in deep and meaningful relationships with other people in the ways that God created us for community.

Grief Care
Led by Becky Riney, LCSW
This group is intended for those who have experienced the death of a loved one in the past few years. The group will provide education on the grief process and opportunities to share with others who are grieving.

Practicing the Way Prayer Practice: Pursue a deeper life of union with God
Led by Pastor Mark Youngman
Prayer is simply the medium through which we communicate and commune with God. The practice of prayer is learning to set aside dedicated time to intentionally be with God in order to become like him and partner with him in the world.

Care Night for Kids….Finding Friends
Led by Christin Christman
Children 3rd – 5th grade will join Ms. Christin for conversation about finding friends and how to be a good friend. Christin Christman has many years in education and is a school guidance counselor.
