Christmas Offering 2024
Our biggest offering of the year... and we're giving it all away!
Last year’s Christmas offering began a multi-year partnership with Compassion International to give children in Peru a future out of poverty and in relationship with Jesus Christ. We were able to start a new Compassion Center and fund Survivor Programs. On top of that over 400 children were given a monthly sponsor through your ongoing generosity. This year, we take the next step by building a church building and compassion center in Yaurisque, Peru. The Calvary Church already worships in a lean-to structure with dozens of families and children. This church is already a Compassion Center serving children, mothers, and babies. Our Christmas offering this year will build a new church building with a sanctuary and two classrooms so the Gospel can be spread and children’s lives changed. This building will serve as the Calvary Church building and the Compassion Center in this town of 3,000 people. The cost of this new structure is $70,000.
The Bridge House, right here in Wilson County (Lebanon), is committed to seeing children in our community who age out of the foster care program live the life God has for them. In America 23,000 kids age out of foster care each year and are left without the support and stability of a family. 1 out of 2 end up homeless. 1 out of 2 end up with a substance dependency. Many are left with higher risk of becoming a victim of human trafficking. Less than half have graduate from high school. The Bridge House ministers to this need, and this year began the process of securing a permanent home for kids who age out of foster care to have a place to go to transition to their good future. Providence Church partnered with other churches to pay the rent for the first year (2024). Now, we want to give a substantial gift to get the Bridge House on solid footing to purchase the home and fund the ministry.

All 6th - 12th grade students are invited to Ugly Christmas Sweater WAKE night on Dec 8 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. Join us for worship, dinner, and Christmas FUN!
A Night of Hope & Remembrance
Join us for a Night of Hope and Remembrance on Tuesday, Dec 10. If this year has been difficult for you, has held grief or loss, or if you just need a quiet space to pray, this is a time for you. You can come anytime between 6:30 and 7:30 and take a moment to pause, remember, pray, and light a candle as we reflect on the hope we have in Jesus. Whether you stay for a few minutes or the full hour, this is a time to be encouraged by His peace and presence.
