Providence Church Friends,
I'm writing to share about a significant “first-ever” event that is coming to our church family.
As you know, our church is founded on the vision “to see those who feel disconnected from God and the church find hope, healing, and wholeness in Jesus Christ.” This requires all of us! But it also requires pastors who are willing to lay down their lives to serve and lead the church.
As a non-denominational church in the Wesleyan tradition, we hold the responsibility to credential (ordain) the people we believe God has called to pastorally lead our church into our divine future.
As such, on Sunday evening, November 15, at 5:00 PM, Providence Church will hold its first-ever ordination service! On this special evening, we will consecrate Jenny Youngman into full-time vocational ministry as an ordained pastor. Jenny has served Providence faithfully for more than 12 years in our worship ministry, but after feeling a call from God to ordained ministry and completing our ordination process and the necessary education, she is now ready for this step. We invite our church family to join us for this special inaugural evening. Please make plans to attend!
As an added blessing to this sacred event, I have invited my good friends, Pastors Dale Locke and Jessica Stafford from Community of Hope Church in West Palm Beach, Florida. They will be helping to lead us and will be preaching on Sunday morning and evening. You will not want to miss their challenge, both to Jenny and to us.
Mark your calendars for this important event in the life of our church!
Jacob
Jenny Youngman
Jenny’s call to ministry has been a long, unfolding invitation over a lifetime of walking with Jesus. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Friends University and earned her Master of Theological Studies from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Since 2014 Jenny has faithfully served as Worship Pastor at Providence Church, creating and leading worship experiences as well as shepherding the worship team. Jenny brings a passion for deep worship, a love for the local church, and a heart to see those who feel disconnected from God and the church find hope, healing, and wholeness in Jesus Christ. Jenny and her husband, Pastor Mark are proud parents of four amazing children, Gracie, Myles, Olivia, and Beckett.
You are invited to join us in person or online at youtube/provchurchYT for this inaugural event!
