"The average American adult spends about 8 1/2 hours each day either online or watching television. Is it any wonder that most of us get fidgety when we try to still our hearts and listen for God's guidance? One of the best ways I've found to calm my restless mind is a practice called Centering Prayer.
Centering Prayer is the best way I know to move deep beneath the mental noise of my plans and worries–and the echo of TV ads and web-surfing. It's a practice that's easy to learn...and it can transform your spiritual life."
