When are your services?
Sundays in-person and online at 8:00, 9:30 & 11:00 AM Central.
What should I wear?
Most people dress in whatever’s comfortable, from jeans to business casual. Our pastors usually wear jeans. But if dressing up is more your style, that’s great, too.
What is worship like?
Our services are a blend of old and new. We have a relaxed atmosphere and many elements of modern worship. But we also often use liturgy and recite the Lord’s Prayer. We take communion together at the end of every service. It’s the same experience no matter which service you attend. Our services usually last an hour.
Do you have Sunday school?
Children (infant through 5th grade) meet in classes in Providence KIDS during weekend services. Adults and families meet in Small Groups (Small Groups link) throughout the week in homes, coffee shops, and at the church building, but do not meet on Sunday morning. Students also meet in Small Groups and at a monthly gathering called WAKE.
What will my children do?
Children (infant through 5th grade) are invited to Providence KIDS, where they are sure to have a great time! Check in your child at the Providence KIDS welcome desk, right next to the main entrance, and she or he will enjoy age-appropriate Bible fun led by volunteers and staff who are both Red Cross CPR trained and Safe Sanctuaries certified. Children are always welcome in worship.
What about middle and high school students?
Our worship services are designed with your student in mind. Providence Students (grades 6-12) also meet weekly in small groups and at a combined monthly gathering called WAKE, an incredible night of food, fun, worship, and community made just for students.
What makes Providence different?
The vision we believe God has given us is to see those who feel disconnected from God and the church find hope, healing, and wholeness in Jesus Christ. This vision drives everything we do. Whether you’re disconnected because you’ve never been to church, were hurt by the church and stayed away, or just moved to the area and left behind a church that you loved, we desperately want you to experience the hope, healing, and wholeness that can only be found in Jesus. We also recognize there are many great churches in the Nashville area. If you don’t connect at Providence, we hope you find a better fit with one of them!
If our vision connects with you, we hope you’ll visit Providence Church. Even more, we hope you’ll jump in and help bring it to life. We can’t wait to meet you!
