Retreat Leaders

Alex and Hannah Absalom show leaders and churches how to step boldly into naturally supernatural discipleship and mission.

Through Dandelion Resourcing, they coach, teach, and encourage pastors and congregations who long for more of the Holy Spirit’s presence and power, so that the gifts of the Spirit are exercised with wisdom, joy, and persistent expectancy.

Originally from England, they’ve served in church leadership since 1994 in a variety of contexts, everything from plants to megachurches. In 2007, Jesus called them to leave England and be a family of missionaries to the United States—a wild adventure they’re still living today!

They live in Long Beach, CA, and are proud parents to three characterful grown sons, two civilizing daughters-in-law, and the first of hopefully many charming grandchildren!

Pre-Retreat Work

1. Reflect and journal on Mark 6:31a and Song of Songs 2:10-13 each week leading up to the retreat.
2. Drop your family picture here by October 1. Please name the file with your first and last name. If you have any trouble uploading it to the Google folder, you can email your picture to jcampbell@prov.church with the subject line: SN Retreat Photo, First Name Last Name. We’ll use these photos as we pray for one another and to help us get to know each other a little better.
3. Turn in more and maturing numbers to your coach by October 1.
   1. More = average weekly worship attendance in person and online (use the 1.7 multiplier for the online number)
   2. Maturing = number of Christ followers living in spiritual, relational and missional accountability
