Foster 180
Helping prepare & support foster care families in Wilson County.
Foster 180 partners with the Department of Children Services (DCS) to raise awareness and increase knowledge about foster care and the need that exists within Wilson County. Additionally, they work to connect local churches with the needs of DCS, provide trauma-informed training for volunteers, and assist in creating teams that wrap around and support foster families within our community. How You Can Serve
- Clothing Closet Organizing Team: Commit to organizing Foster 180’s clothing closet on a bi-monthly basis.
- First Responder: This individual assists a child or family when they first come into care and need supplies delivered to them. Supplies are provided by Foster 180.
- CARE Team Participant: Taking part in a CARE Team which wraps around Foster Families.

To learn more about Foster 180 and how you can serve, please register below and join us for information and a training opportunity on May 1 at 12:00 PM in the Training Room. This training will last two hours and include Trauma-Informed Training by Executive Director of Foster 180, Jenny Sanders. Lunch is provided.
