COVID-19 WORSHIPINFORMATION
We're excited to welcome you in the building on Sunday mornings.
Wearing a mask indoors is recommended by the CDC.
What to Expect in Worship
For those who feel comfortable gathering in person, please know that your safety is very important to us. A number of measures have been implemented to help you safely and confidently attend worship. We also need your help to allow everyone in attendance to be comfortable and safe.
What We Are Doing
- Hand Sanitizer Stations: Hand sanitizer stations are available at entrances and throughout the building.
- Face coverings: Masks are available as you enter the building and at each entrance to the Worship Center.
- Additional Measures:
- We are not passing offering baskets, but baskets are available at the back of the Worship Center.
- Programs and pens are not being passed out at this time.
What We Are Asking You to Do
- Personal Health Considerations: If you are sick, exhibiting symptoms, or have had close contact with a person with Covid-19 in the last 5 days, please stay home and enjoy our worship online, Sunday mornings at 8:00, 9:30 & 11:00.
- Face Coverings or Masks: Wearing a mask in the building is not required but is recommended. The CDC currently recommends that all persons wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission, including Wilson County.
- At-Risk Groups: If you are elderly or have underlying medical conditions that would put you at higher risk, we recommend that you not attend and instead join us by worshiping online from home.
What to Expect in Providence KIDS
Your family’s safety is very important to us. We have a number of measures based on CDC, TN Health Department, and Wilson County Schools guidelines to help your child safely participate on Sundays. We also need your help to allow all families and kids to be comfortable and safe.
What We Are Doing
- Additional Cleaning: High-touch surfaces and play toys/equipment are sanitized between services.
- Hand Sanitizing: Hand washing and sanitizing are encouraged in the classroom when needed.
- Reduced Class Sizes: Class sizes are reduced so children can spread out and be more safe.
What We Are Asking You to Do
- Personal Health Considerations: If your child or someone in your household is sick, exhibiting symptoms, or has had close contact with a person with Covid-19 in the last 5 days, please stay home and enjoy our worship online, Sunday mornings at 8:00, 9:30 & 11:00 CST.
- One Adult per Household: To allow more physical distance, only one adult may be in the Providence KIDS hallway to drop off and pick up children in the classroom. Please also remain in the hallway when dropping off and picking up your child so classrooms do not become crowded.
- Face Coverings: Providence Kids is following school guidelines on face coverings, which state facial coverings are optional for students.
- Bring Your Bible: All 2nd - 5th graders are encouraged to bring their own Bible each Sunday to have it available for lessons.
