Exciting staff changes at Providence Church!
Regina Girten and Jeff Loper take on new job responsibilities.

As many of you may know, our Director of Outreach, Jeff Loper, has been serving in a dual role at Providence Church for several years. In addition to his Outreach responsibilities, he's also led many of our communication efforts. As of May 1, he became our Director of Communications, which is a return to his roots. In his former career, Jeff held similar positions with Universal Music Group and Thomas Nelson Publishers where he managed and directed efforts for some of the biggest names in country music and Christian publishing. In Jeff's Director of Communications role, he will oversee many of the visual pieces you see on Sunday morning, our website, social media, communication with people in our community, and work to further tell the stories of the great things God is doing here at Providence Church.
You may be wondering, where does this leave our Outreach ministry? We're excited to announce that Regina will become our Interim Director of Outreach in addition to Middle School Pastor for the remainder of 2019. She’ll work closely with both Jeff and Pastor of Students Pierce Drake to ensure a smooth transition. Our expectation is that she will become our first full-time Pastor of Outreach after January 1, 2020. We will then hire a new Student Ministry position at that time. As you've come to know, Regina has an amazing pastoral heart which will benefit the Outreach ministry tremendously. Regina is also no stranger to Outreach. Before Providence she held the position of Missions & Outreach Program Director at Brentwood UMC, the largest church in our conference. The future of the Providence Outreach ministry is bright, and it couldn't be in better hands.
