Care Night Prayer Series
Tuesday Evenings Online
Apr 13 – May 18
6:30 PM CST
Prayer is essential in our walk with Jesus and you don’t have all the words just right for Him to hear from you. He just wants to hear from you. With this series you can choose from three topics: nourishing your soul through prayer (I Heard God Laugh), the healing power of prayer (Walking with Jesus the Healer), and connecting with God through journaling (Journaling and Prayer). Join us this Care Night series as we seek a deeper relationship with God through the practice of prayer.
Tuesday Evening Schedule
6:30: Welcome and worship by Zoom. The call will be open at 6:20.

Classes This Series
All classes are led by licensed therapists, counselors, or specifically trained leaders.
I Heard God Laugh
Led by Allison Vines, Director of Care, Betsy Hall, Pastor of Spiritual Formation, and Neil Sharpe, LMFT
Are you taking care of your soul? Are you feeding it and nurturing it? Or are you ignoring it and neglecting it? The reality is, most people have never really been taught how to tend their souls. I Heard God Laugh will help you to do just that by helping you to implement the habit of daily prayer in your life.
This class uses a book and a printed version will be provided. Should you wish to have an electronic version, you may purchase it here.
Walking with Jesus the Healer: A Walking as a Spiritual Practice Virtual Experience
Led by Scott Spradley, Spiritual Director
Join us as we “walk” and pray our way through stories of Jesus’ healing. Each week you’ll receive a walk and prayer guide along with a story of Jesus’ healing that we will focus on. Following your own personal walk each week, join us online for a time of prayer and reflection as we share our experiences of walking with Jesus the Healer.
Journaling as Prayer: Deepening Your Prayer Life and Relationship with God
Led by Sally Sharpe, Spiritual Director
Journaling helps us to slow down and pay attention to our lives. It is essentially prayer, communicating with God about what’s happening around us and within us as we learn to hear God’s voice more clearly and experience God’s love more deeply. In this class we will consider the why, how, and what of journaling as a way to deepen our prayer lives by exploring six journaling practices or methods: awareness journaling, dialog and discernment journaling, scripture journaling, inner healing journaling, story and legacy journaling, and creative journaling.
