Listening to God Through Children’s Christmas Books – classes for adults and children 2nd-5th grade
Adults and children, alike, are invited to listen to God through three children’s Christmas storybooks—one each week. We’ll hear a selection of the story, prayerfully listening for what God has for each one of us, and listen to the story in its entirety.
Listening to Your Soul Through Collage
Be a little kid again, be creative, and discover how God shows up! Tap into your inner wisdom as you cut, paste, and pray with what you create. Listen to what your soul is “saying” through your art and discover what God is inviting you to during this holiday season.
Serenity During the Holidays
Holiday expectations can leave you feeling confused, bruised, and not holly or jolly. We’ll seek God’s assistance and serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change the things we can, and wisdom to know the difference—one holiday moment at a time.
When Holidays Hurt
The holidays can be especially hard when loved ones are gone or our family unit looks differently than it did in previous years. In this group, we’ll talk about our grief, learn ways to incorporate new traditions, and discuss how to be present during this difficult time in order to find the hidden hope amid pain and loss.
The Worship Center will be available for reflection.
